LEOTARDS SOLID COLOR (ONLY), HAIR UP AND AWAY FROM FACE AND SECURED
Dancers must adhere to the Dress Code. Dancers like other “athletes” must wear a uniform that enables them to move with ease and allows the instructor to see body alignment for placement and corrections.
ALL DANCE SHOES MUST BE LABLED WITH YOUR DANCER’S NAME TO ENSURE SAFE RETURN IF LOST.

PRE-PRIMARY - Leotard, tights, dance skirts, tutus (any color). Of-course ribbons in their hair! Leather ballet shoes and tap shoes.
*Please Note: Wal-mart, Target and K-Mart sell a bedroom slipper that looks like a ballet shoe, but it is not appropriate for class. These slippers do-not fit properly, causing the child’s foot to slip out. Wearing this kind of slipper in dance class may increase the risk of injury.

TAP - Leotard, tights, dance pants, tap shoes.

HIP-HOP - Jeans, sweat pants, t-shirts, hats, clean tennis shoes.
*Please Note: Students in Hip-Hop must have a separate clean pair of tennis shoes only to be worn in hip-hop class. You are not permitted to wear the shoes you have on from outside, inside the studio. Outside shoes collect dirt/debris and can create a dangerous situation plus young children and older dancers are sitting and stretching on the dance floors.

ACROBATICS - Leotard, footless tights, dance shorts, dance pants, bare feet.

INTERMEDIATE & PREMIER JAZZ - Black leotard, pink, white or tan tights, dance pants, dance shorts may be worn, jazz shoes.

INTERMEDIATE & PREMIER BALLET TECHNIQUE - Black leotard (only),
pink, white or tan tights, chiffon ballet skirts, pink split-sole leather ballet shoes.

INTERMEDIATE & PREMIER LYRICAL-CONTEMPORARY - Black leotard (only),
pink, white or tan tights, dance shorts may be worn, lyrical thongs.

MUSICAL THEATRE & ACTING - Musical Theatre & Acting will be dancing and getting on the floor. Please dress appropriately. Street clothes (no skirts), jazz shoes or tennis shoes.

PRE-POINTE’ & POINTE’ - Black leotard (only), pink or white tights, chiffon ballet skirts.

Dance shoes may be any color as your dancer begins the 2011-2012 Dance Season.
Costumes for our show in June at the magnificent Palace Theatre will be posted around the middle of November in the studio lobby. Information will include; prices of costumes, color and prices of tights and the color of dance shoes.
